Some films make you feel like they should never end. You keep wishing they were a little longer so you could enjoy them a bit more.
I would say forget the bloodshed and loud chaos for a while. Let’s give some time to love, because this world really lacks it. If pure love lived in everyone’s heart, I believe this world would turn into heaven. Love without greed, without lies, just like in this film. It beautifully shows the bond and sacrifice between Pete, an innocent little boy, and Elliot, a giant dragon.
When Pete is five years old, he goes on a small adventure with his parents, but an accident takes everything away from him at a very young age. He is left completely alone in a dangerous forest. His survival seems impossible. Yet six years later, he is found by a female forest officer alive, healthy, happy, fearless, and brave.
Everyone is shocked, and they start wondering the same thing you might be thinking now: how did he survive all these years? Who took care of him? Who protected him so well that he was never even hurt? Who made sure he never felt fear or worry?
But as soon as the boy reconnects with humans, his troubles begin. Life starts testing him. Now, the one who once saved his life needs saving. Pete must protect the life and freedom of the one who protected him.
Note: This film is best enjoyed with children rather than watching it alone. You’ll enjoy the movie, and as a bonus, you’ll get to see the innocent and beautiful reactions of kids while watching it .
