Letter of Maryam Aurangzeb

Despite earning close to 1 Million$, production house does not seem to be happy with the movie’s output. Fahad Mustafa, the leading actor, wrote an open letter to Maryam Aurangzeb requesting for extending closing time for Malls, Shopping Centers, and Cinemas since it is affecting their newly released films. Fahad further detailed that extending the closing times will not only increase the sale of their tickets but will be convenient for families to watch the movie on Eid since all the shows are already houseful.
Fahad thanked the Senior Minister of Punjab for creating opportunities for film makers in the past. He also mentioned the Film City project in Punjab. He regarded Aurangzeb for her support for Showbiz industry in the end.
Fahad Mustafa’s appeal attracted a negative response mainly because of political reasons. Some comments questioned Fahad whether cinema is more important than health and education. Punjab government is scheduling commercial activities to curb the petrol and electricity overuse because of ongoing US-Israel war against Iran that is causing energy crisis in the region.
